As a third generation photographer, Melissa developed an interest in photography from a very early age, and at the age of 18 in 1992 started her career in photography.

She holds a Masters of Photography (I) with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, and studied photography at Griffith University in Brisbane Australia. She has presented workshops and speaking assignments throughout the world, and is currently involved in several ongoing projects. Melissa has worked on assignments and appeared in various magazines such as, New Scientist, Vogue, Weekends 4 2, Country Life and numerous others. She has appeared in multiple exhibitions and book publications, and her imagery has won her impressive national and international acclaim.

Her work is currently being exhibited in several galleries, and she is presently working in ongoing essays and documentary PROJECTS
